Detailed Specifications of the 6500-310 heater:

  • Includes the high-limit thermo disc and necessary wires
  • Titanium heater element 5.5KW
  • 3/4" barb fittings 
  • Does not include the gasket 
  • Used on 2005 plus Sundance 800-850 models for USA/Canada 
  • All 2000 to 2004 Sundance 850 | Portofino models for USA/Canada
  • Used on most 2000 To Current Sundance Spa Models

*Please note since June 12th, 2000 this heater no longer has the internal circuit board and is no longer needed with the Smart Heater

*IMPORTANT NOTE: This Smart Heater has a slightly smaller dry well. When installing these heaters into spas manufactured prior to April 2007, you can no longer use the OEM Hi-Limit Sensor since it is too large to fit into the new heater's sensor well. You will need to replace both the Smart Heater and Hi-Limit Sensor (SD6600-168) as a set.
